Description
Go is an open source programming language designed for building simple, reliable software.
Go is statically-typed with syntax loosely derived from C, but with convenient things like garbage collection, type safety, some dynamic typing capabilities, and the power of run-time reflection. It has the feel of a dynamically typed, interpreted language, but it's actually fast, compiled and statically-typed.
Some popular open-source projects that use Go include Docker, Flynn and Juju. Go is also used heavily by Google, Dropbox, SoundCloud and many other organizations.
